At TeenLife, my goal is to understand each learner well enough to provide meaningful guidance around subject choices and future possibilities. I facilitate a process of discovery and informed decision-making by helping learners and parents gain deeper insight into strengths, interests, preferences, and potential career pathways. TeenLife does not prescribe or dictate which subjects should be chosen. Instead, I guide families through a thoughtful process that empowers learners to make confident and informed decisions that align with who they are and who they aspire to become.

Discover How You Learn Best
Have you ever felt that you are putting in significant effort, yet your results do not reflect the work you are doing? Many students assume that studying harder is the answer. In reality, successful learning is about more than simply spending more time with your books. The key often lies in understanding how you learn best and adapting your approach accordingly.
At TeenLife, I believe that every learner is unique. When students gain a deeper understanding of their learning preferences, they can study more effectively, build confidence, and achieve better results without feeling overwhelmed. Understanding Your Learning Style TeenLife's 4/4/1 Learning Styles Questionnaire is based on the principles of the Kolb Learning Style Theory. While many assessments focus on identifying a single learning style, TeenLife takes a more practical approach. What makes this approach unique is that learners often demonstrate different preferences across these four environments. There is rarely a one-size-fits-all learning style. Understanding these differences allows students to adapt their strategies and maximise their learning potential.
Why Learning Styles Matter
One of the biggest challenges students face is the mismatch between the way they naturally learn and the demands of a particular subject. Some subjects require analytical thinking and theory-based learning, while others involve practical application, problem-solving, collaboration, or experimentation. By understanding where these mismatches occur, students can learn how to adjust their approach, develop new strategies, and become more effective learners across different subjects and learning environments.
The Learning Styles Process.
The process is designed to be practical, supportive, and focused on real-world application.
- Step 1: Initial Consultation: I begin with a discussion to understand the learner's current challenges, study habits, and goals.
- Step 2: Learning Styles Assessment: The learner completes the 4/4/1 Learning Styles Questionnaire.
- Step 3: Personalised Feedback Report: A detailed report provides insight into the learner's preferences across the four focus areas.
- Step 4: Feedback Session: I unpack the results and identify opportunities to improve learning effectiveness.
- Step 5: Coaching for Change: Two coaching sessions focus on practical strategies that can be implemented immediately to improve learning, studying, exam preparation, and group participation.
- Additional support sessions are available where required.

From Qualification to Opportunity
At TeenLife, I help bridge the gap between education and employment by equipping young people with the tools they need to present themselves professionally and confidently in today's job market. A strong CV and professional online presence can make all the difference when applying for internships, graduate programmes, part-time employment, or career opportunities.
Professional CV Development
Your CV is often the first impression a potential employer will have of you. TeenLife helps students create a professional, tailored CV that effectively communicates their qualifications, strengths, skills, experiences, and potential. I focus on presenting each individual in a way that aligns with their goals and the opportunities they are pursuing.
LinkedIn Profile
Development LinkedIn has become an essential professional networking platform and is often one of the first places employers look when evaluating candidates. TeenLife assists students in developing a professional LinkedIn profile that reflects their personal brand, showcases their achievements, and positions them for future opportunities. I provide guidance on what information to include, how to present it effectively, and how to build a profile that supports long-term career growth.
Building Your Professional Brand
Career readiness is about more than a CV or LinkedIn profile. It is about learning how to present yourself professionally, communicate your value, and confidently take the next step toward your future. My goal is to help students move from uncertainty to opportunity by creating a strong professional foundation that supports their career journey. Flexible Support The Career Ready service can be incorporated into the TeenLife Career Guidance process or selected as a standalone service for students and young adults who would like focused support with their professional profile and career readiness.
